I'm young but I've got a good job alongside college and I like gadgets and when traveling, I definitely like spending a little more to get a nice place. When going to Vietnam this summer I'll be taking a laptop, a Digital SLR with three lenses, and a Canon IXUS with underwater case. Not cheap.Timenhttp://www.inmyallstars.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7402008137406786854.post-62416421061386839092007-04-30T15:12:00.000-05:002007-04-30T15:12:00.000-05:002007-04-30T15:12:00.000-05:00Hi Mike, I agree, it does seem like the best way ...Hi Mike, I agree, it does seem like the best way to travel. More comfortable than shoestring backpacking, but still experiencing the freedom and spontaneity of independent travel.Stacyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13288259556588145890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7402008137406786854.post-60588302757990845602007-04-30T14:49:00.000-05:002007-04-30T14:49:00.000-05:002007-04-30T14:49:00.000-05:00I never really knew what a Flashpacker was, but I ...I never really knew what a Flashpacker was, but I guess I'm one too. When I'm set to leave next year, I'll be able to occasionally "splash out" on a few luxury items/experiences/places to stay. I really feel like that's the best way to travel. I have no problem roughing it, but I don't think barely scraping by day after day for an entire year or more would be fun after the novelty wears off.Mikehttp://www.vagabondish.comnoreply@blogger.com
