Englischer Garten, Munich

Monopteros, a greek style temple atop a hill on the southern end of the large park.

Skyline of old town Munich from Monopteros.

Japanese Tea House on Schwabinger Bach

Waterfall where Schwabinger Bach and Eisbach (ice stream) meet.

At 910 acres, the English Garden in Munich is larger than Central Park in New York City (843 acres).  Walking paths, various gardens, including beer gardens, all ready to be experienced.  We explored maybe a third of the park, on the southern end.  One thing we missed was the Eisbachwelle, near Haus der Kunst.  Something to add to the list for the next visit.
