I'm not sure which was more enjoyable, seeing the Palace with its colorful guards or people watching at the Victoria Monument.

Nice picture Stacy !
That reminds me to put picture of Swiss guards in Vatican city, they have very colorful uniform as well.
I'll do it soon.
Cuckoo
Thank you, Cuckoo! I'll watch for the picture on your blog, too.
London is such an awesome place. My husband is over there right now...are you and did you just take these?
Hi Kari,
We were in England in mid May, and except for the picture I'm in, I took all the other England photos. I liked London a lot more than I thought I would. I'm not much into big cities, but as one person I met said, "What is London, but a collection of villages?". I will definitely go back.
London is definitely a collection of villages, especially once you get out of Zone 1.
Most Londoners I know, including myself, avoid central London as much as we can, and spend our whole lives socialising in zone 2 & 3 (i.e. the inner suburbs).
Great pics!
And thanks for your lovely words the other day... it made my day.
Thank you, Christine, and you are very welcome. I meant every word. You have a great blog, and I can't wait to read more of your posts.
Great pic there! I could never squeeze past those crowds to get a clear shot of the sentry.
Thank you! It was later in the day when I took this photo, and the crowds were light. Lucky me!
