The Borough Market in London

borough market, fresh vegetablesOne of my favorite stops in London was the Borough Market on the south bank of the Thames near the London Bridge. There has been a market in that area since the Romans built the first London Bridge 2000 years ago, and in its current location since 1756.

I couldn't get enough of the sights, smells, and sounds of everything I came across. Tasting one of the brownies from one stall just added to the experience.
