During our stay in Hampshire, England, we walked along the Basingstoke Canal several times. I would love to have something like this within walking distance of our home.

Gorgeous photos, Stacy!
Thank you, Sheila! It was a beautiful walk, so I got lucky with the pictures.
Holy green! Great photos, Stacy!
Thank you, Mike!
This place looks really dreamy.
Those images are really amazing. They remind me of some paintings.
Hi Marilyn and Mary, the walk along the canal is beautiful, so it was easy to get some nice pictures. I thought is was interesting that Jane Austen lived nearby when the canal was being built in 1798. It was about that same time that she wrote some of her novels, including Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility.
I lived in Winchester for three years and these great photos take me back to how many beauitful places there are in Hampshire. New Forest is also a special place.
Hi Mark, I wouldn't mind living in Hampshire for 3 years! It would be great to have more time to explore the area.
Nice pic's. I am reminiscing over them, as I use to fish and walk Basingstoke canal regually. I use to live in Basingstoke, before moving to Illinois US. Your pictures show just how I remember it.
Hi Trevor, I'm glad you enjoyed the photos!
