Friday Photo Post: Snow Day!

No school today. It's been snowing since Wednesday night, and there is no end in sight. They tell us it should stop by dinner time. The above picture is a view of our deck. If you look closely, you can see a slight path through the drifts where our golden retriever, Gabby, goes out. The path keeps filling in.


The picture below was taken during Denver's big blizzard of 2003. By the end of the day, Gabby was covered with clumps of snow stuck to her fur. This snowstorm doesn't come close to that one, (we've gotten just over one foot of snow, with another four inches predicted for today), but it has made a mess of the roads.
